Meridian Tapping Techniques
Meridian Tapping Techniques refer to a form of emotional acupressure. It has been found in a number of studies that when certain acupressure points are tapped on with the fingers while someone is thinking about a past memory, negative emotion, or limiting belief, that the emotional charge is released off of these memories and thoughts, oftentimes allowing them to change and heal. Sometimes clients will come to understand their problem in a new and empowering way; a process known as “reframing.” When meridian tapping is done, the client has the option of tapping on their own acupressure points or, when a session is done in-person and with the client’s permission, I can tap on you.

Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®)
TRE involves doing a specific series of exercises that activate a tremoring mechanism in the body. These tremors typically start in the groin and leg muscles, and over time may move up into the pelvis, hips, lower abdomen, chest, shoulders, neck, arms and head. What we have found experientially is that these therapeutic tremors seem to release chronic tension and “bracing patterns” from the muscles in the body. This means that areas of the body that have been chronically tensed and tight, oftentimes secondary to stress or past traumas, may start to relax themselves over time. What we have also noticed, experientially, is that the therapeutic tremors tend to shift clients’ bodies and physiology out of a chronic fight-flight-freeze autopilot, back to a state of normalcy that we call “social engagement.”

Spiritual Counseling and Coaching
As both an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church and as a longtime meditator, I view all of the work that I do as being a part of my spiritual ministry to help clients live up to their full potential in health, happiness and success. When we heal as individuals, we can be of greater service to our friends, families, co-workers, and to the larger world community.
